What comes with your order
Your order comes with everything you need to apply and remove your nails up to four times for no extra charge and a guide on how to apply. You receive your nails, prep tools and enough glue tabs for two short term wears, and a tube of glue for two long term wears. That's up to 6 weeks of wear when applied and removed correctly.
About the nails
I chose to make my press on nails with soft gel because of its flexibility, lightweight feel and natural look. They do well as reusable nails because of how easy they remove and hold their shape for reapplication.
I use a mix of vegan and HEMA-free gel polishes.
Press on removal
Step 1. Fill a bowl with warm water, a teaspoon of oil (household cooking oil is fine) and a teaspoon of dish liquid.
Step 2. Use your cuticle stick to gently run around the edge of your press on nails where they are attached to your natural nails - never force this step as it could lead to natural nail damage.
Step 3. Soak nails in warm water bowl for 2-3 minutes at a time, lifting to repeat step 2 in between until the nails are gently removed.
Re-using your nails
After removing your nails, remove glue tabs from natural and press on nails by gently rubbing with your finger.
Remove liquid glue from natural and press on nails by using the nail buffer from your kit - alternatively use your nail file but do this slowly and gently to avoid over filing and causing damage.
